At La Villa our breeding goals are clear and forthright. They are to keep in tact the unique working Corso temperament in our dogs which is rooted in the less than glamorous rural past of the Mezzogiorno. We pursue these ideals while respecting the Italian Standard.

We will never purposely compromise the morphology or temperament of what the Cane Corso has always been due to a trend, a boom in Italy, politics or
to sate the needs of an unofficial breed club standard.

In holding fast to the above breeding practices we are consistently
rewarded with fine Corsos suitable for the rugged life of a farm or the
subdued surroundings of a family home.
